I grew up listening to this album, watching the cartoon, and reading this book. I'm sure I'm not the only children's musician who is heavily influenced by this album.

Poor Oblio was born without a point. The story is powerful, yet sweet. And every song is stunning, whether it's listened to on its own or as part of the story. The movie is narrated by Ringo Starr. This is a must-have for any child's record collection.
